Workshops
Our successful workshop programme offers courses in quilting (from beginner through to advanced), lessons in rag doll and figure making, tutorials on how to make unusual handbags, and much else besides, ranging from one-day to two- or three-day sessions.
Courses take place in the workroom at the back of the store. We supply the sewing machines and tea or coffee throughout the day; you bring along a basic sewing kit, some enthusiasm and your own lunch.
Click to see our current schedule. Be warned - places fill up quickly! We operate a 'first come, first served' policy with a small reserve list in case of cancellations. You can book by telephone or by calling into the shop. Payment must be made at the time of booking.
